BMF Race Cars have added a second house car to their program and have tabbed Hayden Cardwell as the driver. Cardwell was the 2022 American All-Stars Pro Late Model champion and has won several big money races this season including the Crate Racin’ USA-sanctioned Alabama State Championship at East Alabama Motor Speedway.
With the success of Cory Hedgecock in the primary house car in both Super Late Model and Crate Late Model competition, the team decided to add a second house car for 2024.
BMF Race Cars are the product of Chad Hedgecock and his racing son. That chassis type recently made national news when team owner Shawn Martin revealed that his Viper Motorsports organization with driver Tanner English would switch to that brand.
Cardwell is expected to be back in his familiar #07, a car number made famous by previous generations of Cardwell.
The move to bring Cardwell into the fold was announced in a recent press release:
BMF Race Cars Announces Expansion with Addition of Second House Car
“Knoxville, TN (October 29, 2023)– BMF Race Cars is excited to announce its expansion with the launch of a second house car for the 2024 racing season.
The team proudly introduces Hayden Cardwell as the chosen driver for the #07 second dirt late model house car. Hayden’s selection is a nod to his exceptional skills, racing insight, and the potential he brings to the BMF Race Cars team.
“Hayden’s addition is more than just an expansion; it’s about harnessing top-tier talent to further establish BMF Race Cars as a force to reckon with in the racing world. The upcoming season is set to be an exciting journey with it also being housed out of the CH Enterpises LLC stable.” said Chad Hedgecock, owner of BMF Race Cars.
BMF Race Cars extends heartfelt appreciation to its partners, supporters, and fans, and is enthusiastic about the promising 2024 racing season. They are also looking for sponsorship opportunities for him, so reach out if interested.”
