Feature Re-cap: At the start of the 25-lap feature it was Thornton who grabbed the early lead with Hoffman, Strickler, Moran and Madden trailing. Hoffman used the high line around the track on the second circuit to take the top spot away from Thornton.
Moran got by Strickler for third on lap 3 then he got by Thornton for second three laps later. A lap 7 caution slowed the pace.
Moran used the lap 7 restart to his advantage to take the lead but a caution on lap 8 for a spin by Owens again halted the action. At the time, Moran led Hoffman, Thornton, Strickler and Blair.
Blair, Madden and McCreadie passed Strickler on the restart to move into fifth, sixth and seventh respectively. Madden and McCreadie both slipped by Blair on lap 13 for fourth and fifth. Moran began to pull away from his pursuers as the clicked off.
Thornton took the runner-up position from Hoffman on lap 20 then McCreadie also passed Hoffman one lap later. McCreadie then moved to second with one lap remaining.
But in the end, it would be Moran who would hold back a late charge from McCreadie to earn his second consecutive victory at Volusia,
