At the back of the top-5. Roberson was constantly challenging Troutman for the fourth spot. At the same time, McIntosh began to experiment with using a higher line in an attempt to find a way around Wilson at the front of the field.

Koehler slowed to bring out a yellow flag on lap 20 as Wilson continued to lead McIntosh, Parton, Troutman and Roberson. When green flag racing resumed, Troutman got by Parton to claim third while Wilson had to hold off a charge by McIntosh.

With less than 10 laps remaining, McIntosh cut into Wilson’s lead as he looked to make a late charge. Ultimately, however, Wilson would again pull away to score the victory.

A flip by Estenson after contact with Henry brought the race to a halt on lap 6. After the racing action resumed, Courtney and DeVault keeping Macri in their sights until the leader’s car began to show signs of heavy smoke which led to the retirement of the No. 39 car.

Courtney began having to work his way through slower traffic on lap 20 which allowed DeVault to close in to within a half-second. But in the end, it would be Courtney who would sail under the checkered flag for the win.
