TAZEWELL, TN (June 8, 2015)—Racing action at the high banks of Tazewell Speedway located in Tazewell, Tenn. will feature a complete show of Limited Late Models, Late Model Sportsman, KDRA-sanctioned Super Stocks, Four Cylinders and Classic Cars this Saturday Night June 13th.
Also on the agenda for this Saturday Night will be Father’s Day prizes along with a Candy Toss for children ages ten and under.
A minor change has been made on the Tazewell Speedway 2015 schedule. On Saturday Night June 20th, the track will be closed. The $1,000-to-win Open Wheel Modified event scheduled on this date will be moved to another suitable date later on in the season. The track is already scheduled to host a $1,000-to-win Modified event on September 6th as part of the Iron-Man Speed Week finale.
The Pit & Grandstand Gates will open at 5:00 pm Saturday. The driver’s meeting is slated for 7:15 pm. Hot Laps will roll out around 7:45 pm. Grandstand Admission is only $10.00 (Children the age of 9 and younger are admitted free with a paying adult) while Pit Admission is $25.00 and $15.00 for children 12 and under.
June 6 winners at Tazewell Speedway included: Matthew Holt of Thornhill, Tenn. in the Limited Late Models, Anthony Burchett in the Late Model Sportsman, Jamie Whitt of Wise, Va. in the American Dirt Allstars/KDRA feature event, Philip Thompson of Knoxville, Tenn. in the Classics and Chuck McMahan in the Four Cylinder main event.
