The ever changing saga of Cleveland Speedway has taken another turn. According to the Cleveland Daily Banner, the U.S. Trustee filed a notice to withdraw a recent bid on the speedway property. U.S. Bankruptcy Trustee Jerrold Farinash earlier had a bid for $1.1 million from developer Marcus D. Lyons. Lyons has since withdrawn his bid leaving no interested parties submitting a bid at this time. It is unclear whether another hearing will take place with the bankruptcy court or if the property will be placed up for auction at the courthouse. We will continue to follow the story.
