ScottBloomquistRacing.com has reported that the driver who has reeled off three consecutive crown jewel victories suffered a broken eye socket that will require surgery. The winner of the recent USA Nationals, North-South 100 and Topless 100 is expected to miss this weekend’s Dirt Million at the Mansfield Motor Speedway in Mansfield, OH.
After being without a ride following a breakup with Skyline Motorsports back in June, Madden joined forces with Scott Bloomquist Racing to drive a second Team Zero Sweet-Bloomquist Race Car just before the running of the Silver Dollar Nationals at Nebraska’s I-80 Speedway. Since that time, the driver known as ‘Smokey’ has been on an incredible run that has seen him earn more than $150,000 in winnings.
