East Tennessee Late Model driver Mark Leach will play the role of car owner on New Year’s Day in ‘The Hangover’ at 411 Motor Speedway. The Norris, Tenn. resident has tabbed veteran Billy Ogle, Jr. to pilot his No. 66 machine in the $4,000-to-win event on the Seymour, Tenn. 3/8 mile track.
Ogle has driven the Leach machine in Limited Late Model races in the past, but this time the car will be entered in the CT Promotions promoted Super Late Model show.
Leach posted the following message on Facebook:
“Ready for the “Hangover Race” at 411 Speedway! Going very under powered to a gun fight with a knife, but i have a awesome wheel man Billy Ogle guiding the Rocket! We will race well, but qualifying might be a up hill battle. I love a challenge!!!”
Ogle has been a free agent of sorts since he parted ways with Blount Motorsports last September after a run of several years that had seen the team score multiple wins, including a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event at the Volunteer Speedway in 2012. He drove several races at the end of 2014 for Stacy Boles.
