The Southern All-Stars series is another series to announce their schedule at the PRI show in Indianapolis. The Alabama-based series will have three scheduled visits in east Tennessee for the 2016 season.
SAS will have two stops at Smoky Mountain Speedway. Stop one will be on April 23. Stop two will be on September 17. Both races will pay $5,000 to the winner.
The other area stop will be at Volunteer Speedway for the annual Scott Sexton Memorial on May 21. Once again, that race will pay $5,200 to the winner.
Once again, there are no scheduled races at Cleveland Speedway, one of the staples formerly on the series schedule.
