The World of Outlaws Late Model Series announced their 2016 schedule earlier today at the PRI show in Indianapolis. Once again, area race fans will get several opportunuties to see the series.
The first chance for fans to see the World of Outlaws will be on April 9 when the series returns to Tazewell Speedway. Last year’s race was a thriller as Billy Ogle Jr. passed Josh Richards on the final lap to grab the win. For fans that want to travel to middle Tennessee, the series visits Duck River Speedway the previous night, April 8.
The series returns to the area with its annual visit to Smoky Mountain Speedway on May 7. Fans can travel a couple of hours up the road to Ponderosa Speedway on May 6. Both races are $10,000 to win races.
