General Information: Drivers meeting is set to begin at 6:45pm.
Weather is expected to be cool with no rain in the forecast.
There is a $1,000 bounty on Casey Roberts. Should he win, he gets the money. Also, if any driver who has not previously won the Tarheel 50 wins, he will claim an extra $1,000.

7:20- Hot laps underway.
Jonathan Davenport is driving the car normally driven by Donald Bradsher.
7:35- Hot laps have concluded. Qualifying coming up soon.

Lap 5 caution for Ronnie Payne and Joe Brewer. Davenport took the lead at the green but Roberts has been challenging. McIntosh and A Smith had been battling for 3rd. Ogle is 5th.
Lap 13 caution for Mashburn. Davenport had a good lead but Roberts closed in traffic. Smith got around McIntosh for third. Ogle remains 5th.
Lap 20 caution for Oliver spin. Davenport continues to lead Roberts, Smith, McIntosh, Ogle, Bailey, Payne, Hill, S Chastain. Vic Hill pulled alongside Oliver’s car under the caution and the two had a very animated discussion.
Lap caution 24 for slowing car of 3rd place Austin Smith. Big move on the last restart by Payne who moved all the way to 5th. Order is now Davenport, Roberts, McIntosh, Payne and Ogle.
Lap 49 caution for Winger in the wall. Davenport leading but Roberts had been closing in traffic. Great battle for third with Ogle now there ahead of McIntosh, Payne and Hill.
Davenport gets his second Tarheel win. He not only wins the $3500 plus a $1000 bounty for beating Roberts.
