TAZEWELL, TN (September 28, 2015)—The 50th Anniversary Season will conclude this Saturday October 3rd at Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tenn. The “Fall Brawl” will feature the Tennessee Dirt Limited Late Model Championship race paying $5,050-to-win and $250-to-start for the Tazewell Late Models while the Chris Collinsworth Memorial will take place for the Super Stocks paying $1,000-to-win and $100-to-start while the East-Tennessee Sportsman Late Model Championship race will pay $1,000-to-win and $100-to-start.
The Limited Late Model event will feature a complete show of Practice, Qualifying, Heat Races, Last Chance Races and the 50-lap main event. The entry fee is $100.00. The Super Stocks will feature a complete show of Practice, Qualifying, Last Chance Races and the 25-lap main event. There is no entry fee for the Super Stocks and Fall Brawl rules apply. The Sportsman will feature a complete show of Practice, Qualifying, Last Chance Races and the 25-lap main event. There is no entry fee for the Sportsman. All rules for each division are posted on the Tazewell Speedway website at www.TazewellSpeedway.net .
Adult General Admission for the October 3rd event is $18.00 while adult pit passes are $35.00. The pit gates will swing open at 4:00 pm this Saturday while the grandstand gates will open at 5:00 pm. The driver’s meeting will be at 6:15 pm, wheel packing is set for around 6:30 pm and hot laps will be around 7:15 pm.
In addition to the Fall Brawl events for the three divisions, the top-five in each division plus the top-three in the Classic Car division will be honored. If the Classic (top-three) and Four Cylinder drivers (top-five) that would like to pick up their awards and be honored Saturday, they will need to be at the back pit gate by 9:00 pm and they will be honored during intermission with the rest of the drivers. If those drivers cannot attend they will need to contact track management to pick up their awards at a later time.
