TAZEWELL, TN (May 13, 2015)—Tazewell Speedway located in Tazewell, Tenn. will continue the 50th Anniversary season this Saturday Night May 16th with a full racing program for all divisions.
The Tazewell Limited Late Models, Sportsman, Classics, KDRA-Super Stocks and Four Cylinders will all be on the racing card for the evening’s events. The pit gates will swing open at 5:00 pm, while the main grandstand gates also open at 5:00 pm. The driver’s meeting will be at 7:00 pm and hot laps will roll out at 7:30 pm. Grandstand Admission is only $10.00 (Children the age of 9 and younger are admitted free with a paying adult) while Pit Admission is $25.00 and $15.00 for children 12 and under.
Coming up on Friday Night May 29th will be the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned 10th Annual Toyota of Knoxville 50 paying $10,000-to-win for the Super Late Models. There will be a full racing program for all divisions during this event. Make plans now to attend this must-see event!
May 16 winners at Tazewell Speedway included Josh Collins of Seymour, Tenn. notching his second Tazewell Limited Late Model win of the season. Matt Tharp of Luttrell, Tenn. was a new winner this season in the Sportsman division while Philip Thompson of Knoxville, Tenn. claimed his fourth Classic victory of the season. Mike Mays of St. Paul, Va. claimed his first KDRA-Super Stock main event of the season while Bubby Braden of Luttrell, Tenn. scored his second Four Cylinder event win of the year.
