6:20- It appears as if some drivers who had planned to race in the Spring Nationals race at Florence are on their way here.
7:15- Support class drivers meeting about to start. Carolina Clash drivers meeting coming up in a few minutes.
7:45- Hot laps about to begin.
8:45- Qualifying underway

Lap 13 caution for spin by Mays. Chad Ogle had been driving away from the pack. Hill and Madden in close contest for 2nd while Douglas and McCarter were fighting for 4th. Hickman was working Vineyard for 6th.
Lap 28 caution for Douglas. Amazing racing all over the track. Madden challenging Ogle for the lead. Hickman, McCarter, Douglas and McIntosh had been in tremendous battle for 4th. It’s now Ogle, Madden, Hill, Hickman, McCarter, McIntosh
Lap 29 caution for spin by McIntosh. Madden pulled off just before last restart with mechanical trouble. Ogle leads Hickman, Hill, McCarter, Vineyard, Smith, Ford
Ogle pulled away at the end.
