Jimmy Owens leads the LOLMDS standings over Don O’Neal, Scott Bloomquist, Steve Francis, Eddie Carrier, Jr., Earl Pearson, Jr. and John Blankenship.
Owens has won five LOLMDS features since July 3rd.

Lap 1 caution for debris. Bloomquist leads McDowell, Blankenship and Pearson. Debris was drive shaft out of Madden car.
Caution just after the restart as it appeared Bloomquist slowed suddenly in front of the whole pack. Carrier piled in hard and very nearly rolled over. Jacobsen and Pearson also involved. Possibly a tire down on the 0 car.
Bloomquist is back out. Francis was also involved and has returned to the track.
McDowell leads Blankenship, Marlar, O’Neal, B Ogle, Hill on lap 2. Carrier is back out as is Pearson.
Lap 12 caution for Carrier(McDowell almost involved). McDowell leads Blankenship, Marlar, O’Neal, B Ogle, Landers, Erb, Owens.
Lap 23 caution for Leake. Still McDowell over Blankenship, Marlar, Landers, ONeal, Erb, B Ogle. Top-5 spaced out but fierce battle behind them.
Owens just dropped out.
Bloomquist charging. Already back to 5th.

McDowell controlled the race after Bloomquist had his early trouble. Bloomquist made a big charge to get back to 4th from the rear.
Owens reports that he had transmission issues.
