During Saturday night’s banquet for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series and the FasTrak Racing Series it was announced that the founder of those two tours, Stan Lester, would partner with Volunteer Speedway owners Joe and Phyllis Loven to operate that facility in the coming season.
In a story first reported by DirtonDirt.com, it was pointed out that few specific details were immediately forthcoming. However, the announcement did declare that the historic 4/10 mile clay oval located in Bulls Gap, Tenn. would run a “full schedule”.
411 Motor Speedway owners Mitch and Tanya McCarter leased the track during the 2018 season and ran a combination of weekly shows and special events. Following a two-year run that saw them named as World of Outlaws Late Model Series ‘Promoters of the Year’ in 2018 the McCarters parted ways with Volunteer Speedway.
