Donald McIntosh won the first heat race on Friday night to claim the pole position for Saturday’s Tennessee State Championship race at Crossville Speedway. McIntosh set fast time in the first group in time trials in the Blount Motorsports entry. Brandon Overton won the second heat race.
Chris Madden was fast qualifier in group two and went on to win the third heat race. Ray Cook won the final heat race of the night. There were 29 entries for the event.
Those four drivers will make up the first two rows in Saturday’s 60-lap, $10,000 to win race sanctioned by the Southern Nationals Bonus Series. Here are the 16 drivers locked in to Saturday’s 60-lap main event:
