Cleveland Speedway is closed for the season. The new comes via the track’s Facebook page. No specific reason was given, though attendance and car counts had been low to start the season. Mike and Theresa Simmons agreed to lease the facility for this season. The track could possibly reopen this season if another person steps forward to run the 1/3-mile track. The facility was listed for sale last fall. The track was scheduling sanctioned super late model races as recent as two weeks ago. Refunds are being offered on season tickets, advertising, and sponsorships.
