This edition of the Quick Six blog has some random offerings.
- Anyone in the pit area or infield at any racetrack should always pay attention to their surroundings, especially when cars are running.
- It is much appreciated anytime a track puts down water in the infield and pit area to keep the dust down for everyone.
- A track owner that reschedules a series race against another track in an area where most series drivers are from is not a smart idea.
- Safety should be the #1 priority of all racers and racetracks on any level in any form of racing.
- It is good to see a number of series take the initiative on driver safety in wake of the tragic accident in Ohio. It’s a shame it takes a tragedy like that one to get things done.
- It’s been said before in this blog. It would be nice if scoreboard operators at all tracks would use the last 2 digits of a race car with three digits. It’s much easier that way to figure out which driver it is they have posted.
