411 Motor Speedway returning to weekly racing in 2019

After splitting time with Volunteer Speedway the last two seasons, 411 Motor Speedway will return to weekly racing in 2019. The Seymour, Tennessee track released its 2019 schedule which sees racing nearly every week from late March though November.

Mitch McCarter, the owner of 411 Motor Speedway, leased Volunteer Speedway the last two season and splitting the schedules between Volunteer and 411. McCarter has opted not to continue to lease Volunteer and will put all efforts into 411 in 2019.

In addition to running many weekly racing shows, 411 Motor Speedway will also host a number of special events throughout the season. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series return on Saturday, October 5. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will make its first visit to the 3/8-mile track on Friday, April 5. The Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals date moves from a Tuesday night to the next-to-last race on Friday, July 26 and will be a $10,000 to win race.

A number of crate late model specials, the Street Stock Nationals, and other events will remain on the 2019 schedule.

Another change is the addition of the Dylan Kennedy Memorial race on Saturday, August 10. The race had been previously held at Wartburg Speedway. The Kennedy family moved the race to 411 for more exposure for the race.
