The Facebook page of 411 Motor Speedway posted on Monday night that an alliance is being formed between six dirt tracks located in or near the east Tennessee region for the purpose of establishing a Crate Late Model racing series.

The tracks involved in the alliance are 411 Motor Speedway, Duck River Raceway Park and Cleveland Speedway in Tennessee, Boyd’s Speedway and North Georgia Speedway in Georgia, and Fort Payne Speedway in Alabama. The six tracks will host a total of 12 races in the first year of the series.

According to the Facebook offering, more details will be forthcoming at the Cabin Fever event at Boyd’s on January 31st and the Sweetheart race at 411 on February 14th.

InsideDirtRacing.com learned earlier that the tracks have agreed to not schedule against each other on the nights in which the series races are being contested. In other words, there will be no Crate Late Model race at any of the other five tracks when a series race is being contested at one of the other facilities.
