A Look Inside the Double Down Motorsports Shop

Double Down Motorsports operates out of a shop located in Morristown, Tenn. where cars for drivers Shanon Buckingham and Robby Moses are prepared. The Roger Sellers-owned team moved into the facility that was once used to maintain cars for John Blankenship when he competed on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

Tom Buckingham, who served as crew chief for Blankenship, now oversees the Double Down efforts for his son and Moses. The Tennessee RV sponsored team employees Longhorn Chassis powered by Vic Hill Race Engines.

Double Down driver Shanon Buckingham won a Southern Nationals Bonus Series race last summer at Tri-County Race Track and the Cabin Fever race earlier this year at Boyd’s Speedway.
