Retired racer Mark Martin has announced that he will be associated with Dirt Late Model racing legend Scott Bloomquist and fellow Sweet-Bloomquist Race Cars driver Jared Landers during the 2015 season. The former NASCAR star’s Batesville, Arkansas based automotive group will sponsor Bloomquist while remaining a partner in Landers’ racing operation.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to team Jared up with Scott Bloomquist this season,” Martin said in a press release. “Scott is the master of racing Dirt Late Models and anytime you can team with someone of that caliber, you can rest assured it will have a great impact on your program.”

Both drivers are expected to compete regularly on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series as well as in other select events.

Bloomquist is a member of the National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame and the winner of more than 500 Dirt Late Model feature races, including the prestigious World 100 and the Dirt Track World Championship in 2014.

After the recent passing of longtime Bloomquist supporter Bob Miller, the Mooresburg, Tenn. driver has secured support from Martin as well as from Mike Reece, the former owner of Late Models driven by three time LOLMDS champion Jimmy Owens through his Reece Monuments company.

Jared Landers has been associated with Mark Martin's dealerships for several years.

Mark Martin was the winner of 40 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events as well as 49 Xfinity Series(former Nationwide) races during a career that spanned more than 30 seasons. He earned top-10 finishing positions in the final Sprint Cup standings a total of 17 times.
