Classes in action: Southern Nationals Super Late Models for $3,500-to-win(35 laps), Limited Late Models for $1000-to-win, and Super Stocks.

*Due to a number of factors, including an illness in my family, updates may be limited to the Southern Nationals.

General Information: 

Drivers meeting is set for 6:45 central.

Weather is expected to be warm with a chance for isolated thunderstorms.

Brandon Overton leads the Southern Nationals standings over Shanon Buckingham and Donald McIntosh.

Southern Nationals races remain at Smoky Mountain Speedway(Friday) and Tazewell Speedway(Saturday).

Overton dominated. His margin of victory in the caution free race was by half track.

Limited Late Models

Car Count: 11 cars

Ryan King and Cory Hedgecock are running both the Limited and Super Late Model classes.

Hedgecock took the lead on the start and King pressured him virtually the entire 25-lap distance. Race ran caution free.
