Time:

Drivers meeting is slated for 7:00pm. Racing is scheduled to begin around 8:00pm.

Weather:

Weather forecast calls for temperatures in the 80s with a chance for scattered thundershowers.

General Information:

This is the first race of the Ray Cook promoted Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals presented by Old Man’s Garage mini-series. The series will send drivers and teams on a journey that will have them race 10 times over the course of 13 days in Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Georgia.

There had been a rumor that Scott Bloomquist would drive in place of Chris Madden if Madden did not feel well after hot laps. It appears as if Madden will indeed drive tonight.
