Classes in action: Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series for $3,000-to-win, Sportsman, B-Hobby, Four Cylinders

*Please Note: These updates will focus primarily on the Chevy Performance SLM race. Any other updates will be dependent on a number of factors, including driver roster availability and timeliness of the event.

General Information: Drivers meeting is scheduled for 7:00pm. 

Weather is expected to be warm with a slight chance for a passing shower.

Ronnie Johnson holds a slim lead over the Chevrolet Performance SLM standings over Tyler Crowder with Adam Martin, Mario Gresham and Tim Busha rounding out the top-5.

The series has held six races so far in 2015 and has boasted six different winners.

These cars will start the feature in positions 11, 13, 15, 17, 19 & 21.

Heat 2- 1. R Martin, 2. Ogle, 3. Smith, 4. Frame, 5. Sparks, 6. White

These cars will start the feature in positions 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22.

Tyler Crowder, second in series points, will need a provisional to make the feature.

Feature Notes:

10:40- Feature lining up on the front straight.

10:44- Four wide!

10:47- Green flag! 50 laps for $3000.

Lap 3 caution for spin involving Thompson, Sparks and Brannon. Hickman leads King, Ownbey, Hedgecock, Williams, Knowles, Busha, R Martin, Gresham.

Lap 6 caution for spin by McCarter. Drivers being pretty aggressive on restarts trying to get the bottom. Hickman leads Ownbey, King, Knowles, Hedgecock, Williams, Busha, R Martin, Coffey, Gresham, Johnson.

Lap 7 caution for roll over wreck by Jeff Smith. He is ok. Hickman still leads over Ownbey, King, Hedgecock.

Knowles gives up 6th to pit for a new right rear tire.

Lap 11 caution for spin at the rear. It’s a fight for the bottom on every restart. Hickman leads Ownbey, Hedgecock, Busha, Williams, King, Johnson, Henderson, Coffey, Gresham.

Lap 17 caution for stalled car of Sparks. Ownbey made aggressive move to get under Hickman on last restart and took the lead. Ownbey leads Busha, Hickman, Hedgecock, King, Williams, Johnson, Henderson, Gresham, Ogle.

Ballenger and Frame spin on the restart.

Officials calling for single-file restarts from here on.

Lap 41 caution for spin by Knowles. Really good racing as traffic had bunched the leaders and some were making outside line work. Ownbey leads Busha, Hickman, King, Hedgecock, Williams, Ogle, Johnson, Henderson.
