Chevy 525 Series set to make first ever appearance at Boyd’s

Ringgold, GA – The Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series is set to make its first ever appearance at the historic Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, GA this Saturday night – April 15th. The series features Dirt Late Model cars powered by the Chevrolet Performance CT 525 circle track engine, which has proven to provide exciting side-by-side racing action. The first appearance at the 1/3rd mile oval will feature a 50-lap, $3,000 to win main event.

 

The exciting action provided by the series will be showcased at the racy oval that straddles the Tennessee and Georgia state lines just outside of Chattanooga, TN. Track owners David Duplissey and Dale McDowell have continually made improvements to the facility and fans and competitors alike will be treated to some of the best amenities available at any facility in the southeast. Fans are encouraged to come out to the track early to see the cars and drivers up close and personal as part of the Chevrolet Performance Fan Zone which brings the cars and drivers to the fans. Also as an added bonus for the Easter Weekend there will be an Easter Egg hunt for kids. The night will feature Knowles Race Parts and Bodies Pole Qualifying where the fastest overall qualifier will pick up $100, with B-Mains and 50-lap feature to follow.

 

Also in action at Boyd’s Speedway on Saturday Night April 15th will be Crate Late Models, Sportsman Late Models, Hobby, and Street Stocks.

 

Boyd’s Speedway will open the pit gates on Saturday April 15th at 3 P.M. with Grandstand Gates opening at 5 P.M. Chevrolet Performance Fan Zone will run from 5 P.M. until 6:15 P.M. with the Easter Egg hunt taking place around 6 P.M. Driver’s meeting is scheduled for 6:30 P.M. with hot laps and racing to follow.
