  1. What was your first personal vehicle?

My first personal car was a 1973 AMC Gremlin that I paid $325 for out of my own pocket. I worked on it until I got rid of it.

  1. What type of music do you listen to?

Classic rock, hard rock, heavy metal. Anything loud and fast like AC/DC, Led Zepplin, the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith

  1. What is your favorite pro or college sports team?

Obviously I’d have to say my favorite college team would be the Michigan Wolverines. As far as pro teams, I grew up in Detroit so I liked all four but if I had to pick just one it would be the Redwings.

  1. What hobby do you have away from the track?

I collect DVD’s. I’ve got over 2,500 DVD movies. And I’ve probably got a thousand race programs from different tracks.

  1. If you had a free vacation to anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Australia, hands down.

  1. What is your all-time favorite movie or television show?

My favorite TV show is MASH, that’s a no-brainer. My favorite movie, there’s a handful, Titanic, The 10 Commandments, O’ Brother Where Art Thou, and I would have to say the movie Life with Eddie Murphy.

  1. Who is a non racer you admire(living or dead)?

The reason I am doing what I’m doing is because of a man named Howard Williams. He was the first announcer who ever caught my attention. When I was a kid I sat in the stands at my local speedway to watch the racing and listen to the announcer because I wanted to be like him.

  1. What is your favorite restaurant?

As a chain, I’d say Texas Roadhouse. As a restaurant to go to I’d say The Beef House on the Indiana-Illinois border.

  1. Name a skill or ability you wish you had.

I wish I could drive a race car. I’ve tried it and I was not good so I knew I belonged on this side of the fence.

  1. Are you a late sleeper or an early riser?

Late sleeper, hands down.
